Getting Started
This effect usually works best with images that have dark colors(: This is the photo that i'll be using:
StepOne
Now that you've opened your photo, go to Colors > Brightness-Contrast... and set the contrast to +20 & Brightness to "0".
StepTwo
Now: Colors > Hue-Saturation:
Hue: -11
Lightness: 0
Saturation: 21
StepThree
Go to Colors > Curves. Select Red from the channel options! and change the curve:

Now the Green:
StepFive
Then the Blue:
StepSix
Colors then Hue Saturation AGAIN:
Hue: -9
Lightness: 9
Saturation: -32
StepSeven
FINAL TOUCH:
Make a new layout, and then make its opacity to 8% or until you like it! Add the color: #FF0090.

ALrighty, it didnt turn out as planned, BUT you can find other tutorials for vintage for photofiltre and its really easy to just copy what its saying to do. you know where to find tools anyway(:
